Approtest

Stand up. Speak out. Show up.

On the peak of a national social and policital conflict I volenteered to design a mini app that centered around a map view, allowing users to easily discover and engage with protests aligned with their values.

concept -  from pins to purpose📍

The core vision for the “protest locator״ app was to provide users with a comprehensive yet intuitive tool for finding protests. The app would feature a map view with pins representing different protests, each marked with its type. Users could filter the protests based on date and type, making the app adaptable to various preferences. Upon clicking a pin, detailed information about the protest would be displayed, including location, date, time, photos, transportation details, contact information, and available routes.

One of the key challenges was striking the right balance between the brand's energetic visual identity and maintaining a user-friendly interface.
In line with the brand's philosophy, the app design kept the spotlight on the products themselves. Large, high-quality images of the cleaning products were incorporated to showcase their uniqueness. This approach adheres to the UX principle of 'content first', enabling users to engage with the products seamlessly and make informed choices.
